Wiring is not required for this product. ON/OFF switch on the light cover. Please turn on the switch before charging. With the solar garden light, it will automatically sense night time, turn on automatically at night, and turn off automatically at dawn until it detects daylight again. The solar light also requires sunlight to recharge and provides approximately 6-8 hours of light once it is fully charged.
